CatArtists for Animals will soon happen in the 30A area and will provide an event to help animals throughout the area. This event will benefit Sinfornia Gulf Coast and the Alaqua Animal Refuge. It will happen on Thursday, November 14th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

Artists throughout the area have been working on individual works for the event. From drawing to sculpture and many other art forms, nearly 40 pieces will be available during the action. These pieces will fit the event with an animal and music theme.

This event not only includes an auction with attendees bidding on the works of art, but will also include excellent cuisine at four chow stations. The bar will be open, as well and entertainment will be provided by members of Sinfonia.

About the Alaqua Animal Refuge

The Alaqua Animal Refuge helps give animals a second chance. Laurie Hood founded the refuge and they provide a necessary service throughout the area. This 10-acre facility provides a home for many animals, which would otherwise be euthanized. It's a "no-kill" shelter and the only one of its kind in the area.

Since 2007, the refuge has helped find homes for over 6,000 animals and homes up to 250 animals at any time.

About Sinfonia Gulf Coast

A non-profit organization providing a place for the musically inclined and plenty of performances throughout the year, Sinfonia helps to provide the orchestral experience to the Gulf Coast area.

Both of these non-profits are worthy causes and will benefit from the Artists for Animals event. Tickets for the event are $50 and the event will happen at Grayt Grounds of Monet Monet. Tickets include the entire night of fun with an opportunity to bid on the excellent works of art, sample food, mingle with other guests and enjoy the open bar throughout the night.
