If you're moving to Panama City Beach and you have a dog or a few dogs, you don't need to worry. This part of Florida is very dog friendly and provides plenty of great places for you to have fun with your furry friend. Whether you're looking for a dog park or a beach for some fun, you'll find it here.

Pier Park

Shop with your dog at Ron Jon's Surf Show, as long as your dog is small enough to carry and enjoy the outdoor area of Pier Par, with your dog. This is a pet friendly area, but you will need to keep your dog on a leash while strolling through the area.

Frank Brown Park

Two pet friendly areas are found at Frank Brown Park including one with a playground for your dogs. Along with the doggie playground, there's 1.5 miles of trails for walking and enjoying your dogs here.

Panama City Beach Conservation Park

If you're looking for great trails and boardwalks for you and your pet to get a good jog or walk in, this park provides all kinds of good choices. You can enjoy the trails from the minute the sun rises to the minute it sets.

The Doggie Beach

Panama City Beach is home to a large beach perfect for dogs. They have to stay on a leash, but you can walk them along the beach and let them play in the water a little. The doggie beach is located west of the City Pier across from Pier Park.

Aaron Bessant Park

Found next to Pier Park, this park provides plenty of green grass for dogs, as long as they're on a leash. Dogs are even welcome at the grass amphitheater for the summer concert series.

Along with these areas, you can take advantage of three off-leash dog parks found throughout the area including:

  • Frank Brown Park
  • Zollie Young Dog Park
  • Everitt Avenue Dog Park
