The Top Events for October Throughout 30A and the Surrounding Area

With so many events coming up in the Destin, South Walton, Miramar Beach and surround areas, it's important to check your calendar and mark the events you want to attend. Here are some of the best one coming up in October to consider.

Seafood Festival - October 6th

The 35th Destin Seafood Festival will happen at the Destin Harbor Boardwalk from 11am to 4pm on October 6th. This event will feature plenty of fresh and local seafood, with artists, live music and so much more. Street performers will provide plenty of great entertainment, along with music from Village Brass Band with Fly, Blenders, Louis Prima Jr. and The Witnesses. There is no charge to get in, but donations will be accepted.

Chronic Jester - Every Tuesday

Chronic Jester plays at Hammerhead's Bar and Grille every Tuesday during October. This musical act provides funk, blues, reggae and rock music styles in the Miramar Beach area.

Sesame Street Live - October 11th

The Marina Civic Center in Panama City will host the Sesame Street Live performance on October 11th with shows at 10:30am and 6:30pm. This event is perfect for kids and will feature Elmo, Murray, Abby Cadabby and all the other characters from Sesame Street. Tickets are $15 and $22 for the night shows and $10 for the matinee.

Sinfonia Gulf Coast

The Emerald Coast will see the Sinfonia Gulf Coast event come back to the area again for the eight year. This event is perfect for those enjoying orchestra music with world-renowned guest artists for many of the shows. The first show will be held on October 24th with many others to follow.
