Upcoming Events at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the top resort on Florida’s Emerald Coast. They bring special events to the area every year and this year’s events have been announced. All ages can enjoy these events at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and will find it’s a great way to kick off the holiday season. Here is a look at some of the things you can look forward to.

Baytowne on Ice

Baytowne on Ice kicked off in November and will last through January 2015. This is your chance to experience some ice skating this winter. Located at the Village of Baytowne Wharf is the ice skating rink that has become a local favorite every year. The first hour of the day is kids skate for ages 12 and under.

Tee Off for Toys

Come check out Tee Off for Toys on December 13th through 14th. This is a great way to help kids in need while enjoying a game of golf. For a donation of a new, unwrapped toy or gift card you can play in the golf courses of Sandestin for only the green and golf car fee of $20.

Make sure the gift item is worth $15. You can golf at any of their three public courses including The Links Golf Club, Baytowne Golf Club and Raven Golf Club. Toys will be donated to Harvest House’s “Hope for the Holidays” which is a program for children in crisis. Anyone is welcome to participate.

Baytowne Holiday Lantern Parade

On the same weekend check out the holiday fun at the Holiday Paper Lantern Parade. It takes place on December 13th at 6pm and will feature paper lanterns in the shapes of holiday symbols. You’ll also see Sandestin homeowners with lighted golf carts and everyone is invited to make their own paper lanterns. The parade is free and will start with a Tuba Christmas performance.
