Panama City Beach has planned some awesome events for January 2015. Once the holidays are over and New Year’s Eve parties have ended, it’s time to start thinking about the best way to kick off a brand new year. Panama City Beach has planned a weekly DJ night party, a blacksmithing class and even a comedy spy thriller at the Kaleidoscope Theatre. Here are some of the fun, upcoming events for January in Panama City Beach.
Snowbird Dance featuring DJ Jim Lawson
Located at the Boardwalk Beach Resort Hotel & Convention Center, every Sunday from January 4th through 11th will feature DJ Jim Lawson at the Snowbird Dance. It’s a great way to get your dance moves on from 3-6pm at the resort. It’s only $3 to get in and will feature all of the classics of DJ Jim Lawson that you love. It takes place at 9600 South Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach.
The Panhandle Pioneer Settlement is going to be hosting a blacksmithing class from 8am -3pm CST this January 17th. Located at 17869 NW Pioneer Settlement Road in Blountstown, it’s a $50 admission where you’ll learn all about the art of shaping heated iron and steel with hand tools.
This hands-on experience will have you using hammers, tongs and chisel on an anvil to forge heated iron and steel. As long as you are 18 years or older or accompanied by an adult and bring your safety glasses, leather gloves and long pants, you can try your hand at blacksmithing.
SAID THE SPIDER TO THE SPY
The Kaleidoscope Theatre is hosting SAID THE SPIDER TO THE SPY from January 9th-18th on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Located at 207 East 24th Street in Lynn Haven, the shows will take place at 7:30pm and 2pm with admission at $16.
It’s a comedy spy thriller about a quiet beach cottage that turns into a den of hilarious shenanigans and nonsense. There will be discounts for students, military and seniors.
Don’t miss the fun events that will kick off 2015 in Panama City Beach.
