Upcoming Wine Festival in Seaside

The fall is here and it's time for plenty of wine and food events in the 30A area. Florida may not get as cold as some of the other areas of the country, but fall still brings plenty of fun events in the crisp weather.

An upcoming event perfect for the season is the 24th Annual Seeing Red Wine Festival. This event will be held from November 6th to November 9th in Seaside. The event was named as one of the Top 10 "Can't Miss Fall Wine Festivals" by Fodor's Travel. This four-day event will provide plenty of fun and will be presented in partnership with the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation. It's sponsored by Cottage Rental Agency, Coastal Living Magazine, The Merchants of Seaside, Visit South Walton and Costa Del Mar.

The Grand Tasting

The main event will be held on Saturday and will include over 250 different wines for tasting. The Grand Tasting will also include plenty of music, food samplings and so much more. Each separate sampling area will have live music and sever local restaurants providing different types of food to sample.

The event will run from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday. Admission is $145 and includes plenty of samples. Wines will also be available for purchase in the retail tent during the Grand Tasting event.

Other Events

Along with the Grand Tasting on Saturday, plenty of other events will be a part of the Seeing Red Wine Festival including:

• Vintner's Dinner at Bud & Alley's Restaurant - Thursday, November 6th at 7pm - Admission is $125
• Al Fresco Reserve Tasting - Friday, November 7th from 6pm to 8pm on the Lyceum Lawn - Admission is $200
• A Celebration of Bubbles - Sunday, November 9th at 11am - Admission is $60
