History of Wine World

The first Wine World location was opened in 2000 in Destin Florida by Chan Cox. Cox has been in the liquor and wine business since the early 1970’s. His founding principle was “to provide unparalleled selection and customer service delivered at highly competitive pricing.”

Wine World is the most influential and successful retailer of fine spirits, beer and wine in the Northwest Florida. They provide selections of accessories, cheeses and gourmet foods from Pensacola to Panama City Beach.

Some locations also have both up-scale and casual environments that provide dining and beverages services. You can experience Chan Cox’s vast experience and knowledge of the trade at any of his locations.

• Every Wednesday night at 6:00 PM at the Destin, Fort Walton, Grand Boulevard, Panama City and Watercolor locations you join for $5.00 per person for Night Craft Beer Tastings.
• Every Thursday Night at Miramar Beach’s Wine Bar you can enjoy Local’s Night. You will receive a bottle of wine and dinner for two for $39.99.
• Friday Night Wine Tastings are every Friday 5:00-7:00 PM for $10.00 per person. The price includes an instant $5.00 rebate for any purchase of a featured wine.
