Lynn Haven has become everything founder W.H. Lynn could have wanted. A New York Senator and publisher of the “Grand Army of the Republic National Tribune,” Lynn had big plans for Lynn Haven. With the help of Minor C. Keith who purchased a large acreage of land in the area now known as Lynn Haven, the two gentlemen created a lottery system selling 50 x 50 lots for $150. Though there were some early struggles, citizens in this city worked (and still work) hard to make the Lynn Haven area a great place to live.
Lynn Haven schools include: Lynn Haven Elementary, Mowat Middle School, and A. Crawford Mosley High School
