Come celebrate Independence Day at the Panama City Marina with great live music, lots of food, and plenty of vendors.  Home Depot will also have a kids workshop for the young ones to build something of their own.  The night will end with a spectacular fireworks show at 9pm that will be simulcast with Magic Broadcasting stations!

Summer Beach Safety Programs

The beach is beautiful, fun and relaxing — but there are some safety tips that can help ensure your day at the beach ends as wonderfully as it began. 
On June 24 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Coastal Branch Library will offer a program on summer swimming and safety tips as part of the Summer Reading Program, "Fizz, Boom and Read." The Summer Reading Program offers hands-on science projects and games as part of each program. The class will feature members of South Walton Fire District's Junior Life-Guard program who will teach valuable tips on how to stay safe at the beach. Walk Her Way

On June 13 men, women and children of all ages walked to raise awareness of domestic violence. They put on a pair of heels and joined the walk! Whether wedges, pumps or stilettos, they bec ame part of a great cause.    Participants walked around the square in Rosemary Beach led by a New Orleans-style brass band. After the walk, there was an awards ceremony and after-party along with a free concert featuring Village Brass Band presented by the Merchants of Rosemary Beach.   The strut benefits two local organizations including the Shelter House. Seaside Summer Concert Series

The Seaside Summer Concert Series is bringing some of the best acts from around the region to perform at the newly redesigned Amphitheater in Santa Rosa Beach.The shows are held each Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m. Bring the whole family for anevening of fun and great music!
