Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade & Pumpkin Drop

For those with a four-legged friend, this is the event of the season. It will happen on October 18th from 4pm to 6pm and will include plenty of fun. Prizes will be awarded for the best dog and owner costume duo and a huge pumpkin filled with treats for the kids will be dropped. Raffle tickets will also be available for prizes and the proceeds will benefit the Alaqua Animal Refuge.

The Chautauqua Winery's 2013 Harvest Festival is right around the corner. This event will be found in DeFuniak Springs, Florida and will provide plenty of fun. This festival is perfect for all of those looking to enjoy a great day of fun. Here is what you can expect.

You can attend one of the top fall events in the area on October 13th. The World Paddle For The Planet 2013 will start at 8am and will be held at Carillon each. This event will last four days and will include plenty of parties, entertainment and more.

With four days full of art, film, paddling, music and more, this party will be more fun than you can find anywhere else in the area. Carillon Beach is found on Lake Powell, which is one of the largest coastal dune lakes and will provide plenty of beautiful scenery for the event.

The Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club will host the inaugural 30A Charity Golf Classic on October 19th. This will be one of the craziest tournaments in the area. Plenty of twists and turns will make this one of the most interesting golf tournaments for charity yet. The proceeds will be donated to the Shelter House Domestic Violence Center and the Off The Mat charity.

Prizes will be given to those winning the event, which are all donated by sponsors, partners and local businesses. Players will check in at 7:30am and the driving range with open at the same time. Unique suds and ales will be on display in the Village of Baytowne Wharf October 18th and 19th from 3pm to 6pm. This will be the sixth annual Beer Fest and will provide a great look at some of the best American specialty beers from around the world and locally. Over 200 beers will be ready for sampling at the main event, along with live music and much more.

Friday night will feature a BBQ on the Events Plaza Lawn with plenty of beers. The theme is "Beer From Around Here" and many local brews will be ready for you to try. All the beers will be paired with something delicious and you can enjoy life music from 6pm to 8pm.

Saturday will feature the craft beer tasting from 2pm to 6pm. More than 40 breweries will be on display from all around the world.

The Outdoors Festival is coming to the South Walton area on Saturday, October 5th from 10am to 2pm. This celebration will allow you to explore the outdoors including the waterfront. The event will happen at Live Oak Landing Outdoor Destination, 229 Pitts Avenue.

This will be a day full of fun and will help to introduce children to the outdoors. Many nature-based activities will be provided with plenty of fun. The first 180 children with an interest in fishing will receive a free rod/reel combination from Fish Florida. This is the perfect way to get their first rod/reel and get them interested in the outdoors.

Many Justin Gaffrey originals will go up for auction on Thursday, September 25th to help raise money for the Food For Thought Outreach. This auction will provide one-of-a-kind items with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity.
