EventsThe Marina Civic Center will be hosting some exciting events coming soon to Panama City, Florida. The venue is located at 8 Harrison Avenue and sells tickets to the event through the box office window.

The Center can seat up to 2,509 people and the building is divided into gallery A on the ground level, gallery B on the upper level to the left and gallery C on the upper level to the right. Get ready this December and January for some great upcoming events at the Marina Civic Center.

Jerry Seinfeld

Comedy lovers won’t want to miss seeing Jerry Seinfeld. He’s going to be performing on December 12th at 7pm. Be sure to leave the camera at home because he’s requesting no photos or videos.

The non-profit organization places wreaths on the graves of soldiers to recognize U.S. military veterans that have preserved America’s freedom. It’s taking place December 13th, 2014. The Mission of Wreath Across America

The mission of the organization is to remember, honor and teach by coordinating wreath laying ceremonies on a Saturday in December at Arlington and other veterans’ cemeteries around the 50 states.  

In addition, the cause plans a week of events to include ceremonies at State Houses, international veteran’s tributes and a week-long Veteran’s Parade between Virginia

The Panama City Music Association is a volunteer organization in Panama City that brings opera, musical theatre, and classical and modern dance to as much of the community as possible. Their goal is to expand the musical experience to the area and to increase youth participation in the arts.

Why do we celebrate veterans day?

So as History reminds us, World War I (which is one of the biggest war in the history of the world) ended with the Treaty of Versailles. We all know, thousands of soldiers died on the front in this war which went on for many years. The people who lost their lives for this country in this war and all succeeding wars and who served to protect the nation are honored for their contribution to our Freedom. For that, Veterans day is celebrated every year on the 11th of November. Schools and government offices have different memorial programs held on this occasion. Prayers are offered in the honor of the soldiers and their families. Many government offices are given a paid holiday for this day.

The event will bring thousands of moviegoers to the resort on November 7th and 8th to enjoy the festival. Upcoming EventThis November, check out the Chili Vibrations Reggae Festival in Panama City Beach, FL. Along with a chili cook-off, the event will feature several live musicians. It’s a three day festival at the Aaron Bessant Amphitheater of Panama City Beach. Here are the acts expect at the upcoming Chili Vibrations Reggae Festival in Florida.

What you need to know

The event starts on November 14th and goes until the 16th. It’s located at the Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheatre at 500 Pier Park Drive. It’ll go from 7pm Friday thru 7pm Sunday. To attend each day of the event, it’s $59.95 for a three day pass. VIP Passes cost $149.95.
