A Weekly Event Under the Night Sky

Americana Under The Stars is the perfect weekly event to enjoy at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. This event features music from top singer/songwriters, an open mic for local musicians and more. Lucky Mud hosts the event every Thursday and the night starts at 5pm with the open mic, which is followed by the concert at 7pm.

This is a free event, with a suggested donation of $5 per vehicle, cabin or campsite. All donations will benefit the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and will help with park projects and programs. Whether you come out every week or just once, this is sure to be a great time.

About Topsail Hill Preserve State Park

If you want to make a day of it, you can come out and enjoy the park before the concert starts. Many natural resources are found here, including over three miles of white sand beaches. Beautiful dunes over 25 feet tall allow for all kinds of fun. Many visitors enjoy fishing for panfish, catfish, bass and bream. The lakes and the beautiful beaches provides plenty of area for families to enjoy nature.

If you're looking for the right place for a weekend away, you can start with the Thursday Americana Under The Stars event and camp throughout the entire weekend. Cabins, RV sites and tent sites are all available.

Other rentals are also available for canoeing and kayaking, along with weekly ranger programs. You can even enjoy breakfast with the ranger. This is a great place to get away from the busy world and enjoy a vacation in your own backyard.
