The Marina Civic Center is a rental facility housing a 2,508 seat theatre, fully equipped stage and three meeting rooms. It’s located in beautiful downtown Panama City, Florida at 8 Harrison Avenue. The venue is available to rent with meeting rooms in the galleries and the full theatre.

The Center is home to many special events, shows and performances. Upcoming performances include big names like Tony Bennett, Heart, Women of Ireland, Amy Grant and The Musical Jekyll & Hyde. Here is a look at these upcoming events.

Tony Bennett – February 16th – 6:30pm

Check out legendary singer Tony Bennett with opening act Antonia Bennett at 6:30pm on the 16th. Presented by Hess Entertainment, this performance should be a big night at the Marina Civic Center. Tickets will vary from $50-$100.

Heart – February 27th - 8pm

American rock band, Heart, will be coming to the Marina Civic Center this February 27th at 8pm. They’ve been around for four decades and rose to fame in the mid-70s with music inspired by heavy metal, hard rock and folk.

After a decline in popularity, they made a comeback in 1985 and now have made a return to hard rock and acoustic folk roots. Check out this 35 million record selling band presented by Hess Entertainment. Tickets range from $35.50 to $75.50+.

Women of Ireland: Irish/Celtic Song & Dance – February 28th – 7:30pm

Check out the Women of Ireland presented by Panama City Music Association. Tickets will cost $35 to $50. This production is an exciting full stage concert production which combines traditions of music, song and dance in Ireland. The women depict the qualities of Irish music in a contemporary setting.

Jekyl & Hyde, The Musical – March 16th – 7:30pm

Presented by Bay Arts Alliance along with Innovations Arts & Entertainment, Jekyll & Hyde, The Musical, will be performed on March 16th. This musical thrilled is based on the novel The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Finally, don’t miss Amy Grant this June 5th at 7:30pm, when tickets go on sale this March to benefit St. John Catholic School.
