New Year's Eve is one of the biggest nights of the year for celebration. Bringing in 2015 can be done in many different ways. Here's a look at the many events happening throughout The Beaches area for your New Year's Eve celebration.

Salute 2014 - 11am - 2pm

Before 2014 is gone, you can enjoy the Salute 2014 event featuring Kyle LaMonica. This event includes light snacks, beverage and live music. It will be held at Fonville Press in Aly Beach.

New Year's Eve Dinner - 5pm - 11pm

Celebrate in a low-key way at The Pearl on Rosemary Beach with dinner. Make sure you get reservations for the four-course feast and the three-piece band before all the seats are taken.

The 30A Songwriters Festival is coming to town this January for the 6th year in a row. The annual event will take place this January on the 16th-18th in celebration of signers and songs. The event will feature performances by amazing artists.

The event will take place at venues along the Scenic Highway 30A and the northwest resort of neighborhoods of South Walton. Check out over 150 songwriters and over 200 performances at over 25 venues in the area this January. Here is what you can expect for this year’s upcoming festival.

EventsThe Marina Civic Center will be hosting some exciting events coming soon to Panama City, Florida. The venue is located at 8 Harrison Avenue and sells tickets to the event through the box office window.

The Center can seat up to 2,509 people and the building is divided into gallery A on the ground level, gallery B on the upper level to the left and gallery C on the upper level to the right. Get ready this December and January for some great upcoming events at the Marina Civic Center.

Jerry Seinfeld

Comedy lovers won’t want to miss seeing Jerry Seinfeld. He’s going to be performing on December 12th at 7pm. Be sure to leave the camera at home because he’s requesting no photos or videos.

The non-profit organization places wreaths on the graves of soldiers to recognize U.S. military veterans that have preserved America’s freedom. It’s taking place December 13th, 2014. The Mission of Wreath Across America

The mission of the organization is to remember, honor and teach by coordinating wreath laying ceremonies on a Saturday in December at Arlington and other veterans’ cemeteries around the 50 states.

The Panama City Music Association is a volunteer organization in Panama City that brings opera, musical theatre, and classical and modern dance to as much of the community as possible. Their goal is to expand the musical experience to the area and to increase youth participation in the arts.

Why do we celebrate veterans day?

So as History reminds us, World War I (which is one of the biggest war in the history of the world) ended with the Treaty of Versailles. We all know, thousands of soldiers died on the front in this war which went on for many years. The people who lost their lives for this country in this war and all succeeding wars and who served to protect the nation are honored for their contribution to our Freedom. For that, Veterans day is celebrated every year on the 11th of November. Schools and government offices have different memorial programs held on this occasion. Prayers are offered in the honor of the soldiers and their families. Many government offices are given a paid holiday for this day.
